Job summary

Leidos is seeking a F5 Load Balance Network Engineer to support a DoD IT contract. The role covers implementation, operations, and maintenance of F5 load balancers across on-premises and cloud resources, including PKI and certificate management, at multiple sites including Tampa, FL.

Qualifications

• Experience administering F5 load balancers in an enterprise environment.
• Knowledge of standards for monitoring and management of F5 appliances.
• Backup PKI certificates and appliance configurations.
• Experience creating, managing, and troubleshooting load-balanced IP spaces.
• Ability to work independently and with team members to meet requirements.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow ITSM.

Responsibilities

• Ensure SSL/TLS offloading and PKI authentication features provided by the F5 appliance are operational at all times.
• Backup load balancing configurations and PKI certificates according to customer policies.
• Alert customers prior to PKI certificate expiration and assist with renewals.
• Create, manage, and troubleshoot load balanced IP address spaces.
• Develop and implement technical solutions with engineers and architects.
• Provide after-hours support to 24/7/365 IT Operations Center personnel.
• Develop and update technical solutions, operating procedures and other documentation for IT Operations Center personnel to assist with triage.
