Job summary

CesiumAstro in the United States is seeking a Senior Trade Compliance Administrator to lead ITAR/EAR regulatory work for export-controlled aerospace programs. You will prepare licenses, assess classifications, and support compliance across engineering, contracts, and supply chain.

Applicants should have strong knowledge of export controls, TAAs, TCPs, and ECCNs, with experience in audits and regulatory reporting. This role offers stock options and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, international business, business administration, logistics, legal studies, or related field with 5–8 years of related experience, or Master's with 3–6 years.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. export controls, trade compliance principles, export licensing, regulatory classifications, and authorization requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer export licenses, agreements, exemptions, license exceptions, and TAAs under ITAR, EAR, and applicable requirements.
• Research and assess export classifications, USML categories, ECCNs for hardware, software, technology, and data.
• Review international shipments, data transfers, and export-controlled activities for authorization requirements.
• Conduct restricted-party screening, end-user/end-use due diligence, and compliance reviews to identify risks.
• Evaluate foreign-person employees/visitors for export authorization and support TCP implementations.
• Investigate compliance discrepancies and licensing conditions to determine corrective actions.
• Maintain export authorizations, TAAs, license provisos, and supporting documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, contracts, legal, HR, security, ops, and programs to address export compliance questions.
• Provide guidance on trade compliance requirements, licensing procedures, technology controls, and regulatory documentation.
• Monitor ITAR/EAR/OFAC changes to identify impacts on business activities.
• Support audits, investigations, training, regulatory reporting, and corrective actions.
• Recommend improvements to export compliance procedures and tracking.
