Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a Senior Trade Compliance Administrator to lead export control activities across ITAR and EAR. You will prepare licenses, perform classifications, and coordinate with engineering, supply chain, and legal to ensure compliant transactions.

The role requires strong knowledge of U.S. export controls, plus experience with TAAs, TCPs, screenings, and audits. A related bachelor's degree and 5–8 years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with experience in trade compliance and export controls.
• Strong knowledge of ITAR, EAR, OFAC, USML categories, and ECCNs.
• Experience applying license controls, TAAs, TCPs, and screening.
• Ability to interpret regulations and assess licensing requirements.
• Proven cross‑functional collaboration across engineering, legal, and supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer export licenses, TAAs, and license exceptions per ITAR/EAR and requirements.
• Assess classifications, USML categories, ECCNs, and jurisdiction determinations.
• Review shipments, data transfers, foreign access, and determine authorization needs.
• Conduct restricted‑party screening and end‑use/end‑user due diligence.
• Evaluate foreign personnel for export controls and support TCP implementation.
• Maintain regulatory records and assist audits, investigations, and reporting.
• Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, contracts, and legal on compliance questions.
• Provide guidance on licensing procedures and regulatory documentation.
