Job summary

CrowdStrike Intelligence is seeking a motivated security researcher to analyze in-the-wild exploits, track adversaries, and produce actionable intelligence. This highly technical role focuses on reverse engineering, automated exploit analysis, and cross-team collaboration to improve detection and mitigation across CrowdStrike’s AI-native platform.

The position emphasizes strong writing skills, experience with exploitation techniques, and the ability to briefing diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in exploitation techniques for userspace and kernel-level vulnerabilities.
• Knowledge of common network service exploitation techniques.
• Solid understanding of at least two operating system platforms, including Windows.
• Familiarity with standard web-based exploitation vectors.
• Collaborative mindset and strong team player.
• Proficient in reverse engineering tools and processes.
• Knowledge of programming/scripting languages, especially Python.
• Ability to use AI-assisted tools to accelerate vulnerability research and exploit analysis.
• Excellent writing skills are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Implement tracking systems informing cross-team adversary tracking based on exploitation behavior.
• Improve and maintain capabilities for detecting exploits and malicious payloads.
• Increase threat visibility using new data sources.
• Maintain understanding of exploit internals through reverse engineering.
• Develop tools to automate exploit analysis tasks within analysis frameworks.
• Create a classification framework aiding intrusion attribution based on vulnerabilities used.
• Contribute to active mitigation efforts with technical expertise.
• Develop host-based and network-based signatures for large-scale hunting and prevention.
