Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a highly skilled security researcher to analyze in-the-wild exploits, develop intelligence products, and extend automation for exploit analysis. The role focuses on vulnerability research, reverse engineering, and improving detection across CrowdStrike’s platform.

The position emphasizes collaboration with the Intelligence team, production of actionable guidance, and briefing customers or internal audiences on complex findings.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in exploitation techniques seen in userspace & kernel exploits.
• Knowledge of common network service exploitation techniques.
• Strong understanding of Windows operating systems.
• Familiarity with disassemblers, debuggers & malware unpacking processes.
• Strong Python scripting skills & ability to validate findings.
• Ability to leverage AI-assisted tools to speed vulnerability research.
• Excellent technical writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine exploit analysis methods and cross-team attribution frameworks.
• Produce high-quality threat intelligence reports with actionable guidance.
• Collaborate with intelligence and security teams to track adversaries and campaigns.
• Brief stakeholders on complex analysis results and mitigation strategies.
