Experiential Agency in Culver City seeks a Production Director to lead production operations for a major client account. The role blends strategic leadership with hands-on production expertise across programs, budgets, procurement, and delivery.

You’ll partner with creative, account, finance, operations, and executive teams to build scalable processes, develop talent, and deliver exceptional experiences. The role requires a hybrid schedule and flexibility for travel and evenings/weekends as

Qualifications

• 10+ years in experiential or event production.
• Executive Producer or senior production lead experience.
• Knowledge of fabrication, AV, scenic, venues, logistics, labor, safety, and onsite execution.
• Ability to build production plans, schedules, scopes, budgets, and contingencies.
• Strong vendor relationships; assess bids, pricing, and timelines.
• Proven ability to lead multiple programs and mentor producers.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, procurement, scope management, and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Lead production operations across multiple experiential programs and activations.
• Improve workflows, tools, and processes for efficiency and profitability.
• Oversee budgets, forecasting, procurement, vendor selection, and reconciliation.
• Manage, coach, and develop production teams, including senior producers.
• Identify production risks and financial issues early; propose solutions.
• Partner with departments and participate in client-facing conversations.
• Step into hands-on leadership for critical programs when needed.
