Job summary

American Express Global Travel and Travel & GBT is seeking a Studio Operations Manager to lead a dedicated Experience Studio team supporting a major enterprise client. You will own staffing, quality, and reporting across a busy calendar of meetings and events, acting as the daily client contact for leadership and ensuring program success.

The role requires deep experience in corporate meetings, strong leadership, and a track record of managing multi-faceted events with budgets over $1M.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years in corporate meetings and events.
• Direct leadership of ten or more planners within a client program.
• Experience running delivery under a client statement of work with reviews.

Responsibilities

• Lead the dedicated account team and manage hiring, assignments, performance, and coverage.
• Serve as daily client contact for portfolio performance, risks, and decisions.
• Own delivery against the statement of work, service levels, scope, and quality.
• Coordinate staffing across the calendar, balance workloads, and advise on staffing.
• Run governance with monthly and quarterly reviews using performance data.
• Own account reporting including event activity and cost reporting.
• Set and audit quality standards for sourcing, budgets, registrations, and onsite delivery.
• Resolve escalations with stakeholders and suppliers, onsite if needed.
