Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking an Experience Research Senior Associate in Wilmington, DE. You will shape user experiences across Connected Commerce – Banking Payments by applying advanced quantitative and qualitative methods, ethnography, and data analysis.

You will lead research studies, translate customer needs into actionable insights, and drive design decisions in collaboration with product and engineering teams. A strong background in finance or fintech research is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in generative and evaluative UX research using advanced methods.
• Proficiency in both quantitative and qualitative research, including survey and interview design, ethnography, and data analysis.
• Advanced knowledge of user experience design principles and ethnographic influences on UX.
• Ability to review and apply current research practices to inform experience designs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and execute research studies using advanced methods (surveys, interviews, ethnography) to gather customer insights.
• Analyze data to identify patterns and provide actionable recommendations for UX improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate insights into product development processes.
