Responsibilities

  • Provides administrative and technical support to administrator(s) to optimize productivity.
  • Supervises assigned personnel, including performance evaluation and professional development.
  • Fully understands organization's operations and procedures.
  • Coordinates administrator communications: calls, emails, calendar, travel itineraries.
  • Acts as liaison between supervised personnel and manager.
  • Works independently and in teams on special projects.
  • Leads projects by planning and coordinating presentations and timelines.
  • Maintains efficient records for department and confidential materials.
  • Represents organization at meetings and councils with poise and tact.
  • Monitors budget in collaboration with administrator.
  • Collaborates with district management to ensure compliant processes.
  • Participates in professional development to stay current with trends and technology.
  • Shows reliability, diligence, professionalism, and discretion.
  • Uses critical thinking to judge situations and take action.
  • Manages office supplies inventory.
  • Communicates effectively with all stakeholders and constituents.
  • Completes Dallas College Professional Development training hours per year.
  • May support other members within the organization.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
