Senior Executive Assistant to General Partner - Investment Firm

Compensation: $125K - $150K

Location: New York City, USA (Fully Office-Based Required)

Join a global investment firm specializing in ecosystem growth, working closely with a diverse portfolio of 90+ companies. Our team is composed of technical operators and strategic thinkers dedicated to being the most founder‑friendly and helpful source of capital in the market.

Responsibilities
  • Executive Support & Coordination: Provide full, proactive administrative and strategic support to the General Partner
  • Complex Calendar Management: Own and meticulously manage a dynamic, high‑volume calendar, prioritizing engagements, scheduling calls and meetings across multiple time zones, and proactively resolving conflicts to optimize the GP's time
  • Communication & Gatekeeping: Act as the primary professional point of contact and gatekeeper for the GP, screening calls and managing a high‑volume inbox and correspondence (internal and external) with confidentiality and discretion
  • Document Preparation: Draft, edit, and format high‑level correspondence, presentations, board materials, and investment reports for executive and external audiences
  • Travel Management: Coordinate extensive and complex domestic and international travel logistics, including flights, accommodations, and detailed itineraries
  • Project & Investment Support: Assist with special projects related to investment activity and portfolio support, ensuring follow‑up items are tracked and deadlines are met
  • Process Improvement: Continuously assess and refine internal administrative workflows to enhance efficiency and support the firm's strategic objectives
Qualifications
  • Experience: Proven, senior‑level experience in an Executive Assistant role. Any industry background will be considered, but a strong preference for candidates with an investment, venture capital, or financial services background is highly desired
  • Location/Work Model: Must be based in New York City (NYC) and be able to work fully office‑based (or be willing to relocate to NYC for this requirement)
  • Organizational Mastery: Exceptional time management, prioritization, and organizational skills; demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and frequent, complex schedule changes
  • Communication Excellence: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including proven ability to draft professional, high‑impact content for executive audiences (emails, presentations, reports)
  • Mindset: Highly adaptable, resilient under pressure, and possess a strong problem‑solving mindset with a bias for action in ambiguous or rapidly changing situations
  • Discretion: High level of professionalism and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with absolute integrity
