Job summary

NorthRock Partners is seeking a strategic, highly organized professional to join our Executive Office in Minneapolis, MN. You’ll serve as a trusted partner to senior leadership, maximizing executive effectiveness through high-level support, strategic coordination, and leadership of junior Executive Assistant(s).

The ideal candidate is proactive, collaborative, and skilled at navigating competing priorities and working across client service, operations, and executive teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 5–7+ years supporting senior leaders or C-suite executives.
  • Experience leading, coaching, or developing administrative professionals.
  • Expertise in calendar management, travel, executive communications, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce CRM.

Responsibilities

  • Manage complex calendars, inboxes, communications, travel, and executive priorities
  • Lead, coach, and develop junior Executive Assistant(s), including workload, goals, and performance
  • Prepare executives for meetings and drive follow-up on decisions and action items
  • Coordinate meetings, events, executive engagements, and stakeholder communications
  • Track priorities, deadlines, and deliverables across key initiatives and workstreams
  • Identify process improvements that increase executive and team efficiency
  • Partner across client service, operations, and executive teams to ensure alignment and progress
  • Support presentations, executive deliverables, events, and business development initiatives

The Role

What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 5–7+ years supporting senior leaders or C-suite executives
  • Experience leading, coaching, or developing administrative professionals
  • Expertise in complex calendar management, travel, executive communications, and cross-functional coordination
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems such as Salesforce
  • Exceptional communication, organization, discretion, emotional intelligence, and judgment
  • Proactive problem-solving skills with the ability to manage competing priorities independently
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Successful completion of a credit and criminal background check is required

The estimated base salary range for this role is $107,000 – $147,000 per year. Compensation is based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. This role may also be eligible for variable pay (bonuses, commissions, incentives).
