You will serve as a trusted growth coach to a group of financial advisors, guiding growth, scalability, and high performance while leveraging wealth-management expertise and executive leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • 10-15+ years of progressive experience in wealth management, financial services, or a related professional services environment.
  • Proven experience coaching financial advisors or other entrepreneurial professionals
  • Strong practice management and sales leadership expertise, including organic growth, team development, capacity, and practice economics
  • Exceptional executive presence, relationship-building skills, and ability to lead through influence
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Successful completion of a credit and criminal background check is required

Responsibilities

  • Coach advisors on growth strategy, business planning, client acquisition, segmentation, and practice economics
  • Turn advisor goals into actionable plans, measurable outcomes, and accountability
  • Help advisors build high-performing teams through effective leadership, delegation, talent development, and succession planning
  • Identify opportunities to improve advisor capacity, scalability, client experience, and overall practice performance
  • Connect advisors with NorthRock resources, technology, tools, and expertise that support their growth
  • Partner across the firm to solve business challenges, share field insights, and advance strategic priorities
  • Identify and share best practices across the advisor community
  • Travel approximately 40-60% for advisor visits, meetings, and firm events

The Role

We’re looking for a strategic, relationship-driven leader to join our Personal Office team. In this role, you’ll serve as a trusted growth coach to an assigned group of financial advisors, helping them build stronger, more scalable, and higher-performing practices. The ideal candidate combines wealth management expertise, business coaching, and sales leadership with the ability to influence experienced, entrepreneurial professionals.

The estimated base salary range for this role is $239,000 - $329,000 per year. Compensation is based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. This role may also be eligible for variable pay (bonuses, commissions, incentives).
