Job summary

Discover Technologies in the United States is seeking an experienced Exchange Administrator to lead meetings, oversee technical staff, and manage on‑premises Exchange components.

You will patch and upgrade Exchange 2019, configure related services, script mailbox usage reports with PowerShell, document procedures, and provide daily ticket support. A Public Trust clearance is required; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred and related certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience maintaining and upgrading on-premises Exchange components.
• Ability to present and lead meetings and oversee technical staff.
• Experience supporting incidents, troubleshooting, and journaling tickets.
• Requires the ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead meetings and oversee peer reviews of technical staff.
• Exchange administration for on‑premises components and related services.
• Track and report mailbox usage with PowerShell scripts.
• Develop and update technical operations and maintenance documents.
• Provide daily ticket support and detailed ticket journaling.
• Manage retention policies, SMTP relay requests, and mailbox restores.
• Review security vulnerabilities and coordinate patching actions.
• Submit change requests and participate in Change Control Board meetings.
• Analyze Exchange enhancements and report impact to management.
• Monitor application logs and report anomalies to leadership.
• Provide integration support for mail system connections.
• Offer after-hours on-call rotation coverage.
• Maintain SLA for configuration changes, breaches, patches, and security updates.
