Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior Exchange Administrator to support a large enterprise IT contract for the DoD. The role focuses on on‑prem Exchange, hybrid cloud, and M365 Exchange Online in a multi‑enclave environment.

Responsibilities include planning upgrades, configuring, and troubleshooting across physical and virtual servers, scripting with PowerShell, and adhering to RMF/ATO requirements. Candidates should have DoD IT certifications and strong teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Experience with Exchange 2019, 2025 SE, and M365 Exchange Online.
• Proven ability to design, plan, and implement upgrades.
• Strong scripting/automation experience using Exchange PowerShell.
• DoD 8140.03-based certifications or equivalent IT security controls.
• Experience with high availability and disaster recovery in large environments.
• Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow) and on-call support.

Responsibilities

• Remotely log into servers to perform configuration and remedial actions.
• Provide Tier 2 O&M support for physical and virtual servers.
• Collaborate on network latency analysis to address slow connections.
• Collect data, analyze, and implement solutions using Problem Management guidelines.
• Establish and maintain availability and capacity management practices.
• Provide follow-up reports with root cause analysis and remediation steps.
• Support 24/7/365 mission environments and on-call outages.
• Update operations documentation for 24/7/365 IT Operations Center watch personnel.
• Troubleshoot email routing devices and security services (McAfee/Trellix, Proofpoint, Edge devices).
• Manage Exchange Online in Office 365 hybrid environment.
• Manage roles, services, and permissions per mandates.
• Create, test, and implement PowerShell scripts to automate tasks.
• Conduct FOIA searches using PowerShell and Microsoft tools.
• Maintain data integrity and security posture across multi-enclave environment.
