Job summary

RTX is seeking a senior systems engineer to provide EW/Radar test and integration support. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to design, develop and test prototype systems from project initiation through system transition.

The role requires a STEM degree and 10 years in EW/Radar, hands-on use of lab instruments, and a DoD Secret clearance. You will lead IV&V efforts, prepare verification documentation, and brief leadership on findings.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 10+ years in EW/Radar design, test and integration.
Experience producing test documentation, including plans, procedures and reports.
Leading EW/Radar system integration, verification, and validation in lab and field environments.
Experience developing requirements for EW/Radar test equipment and using lab instruments.

Responsibilities

Provide systems engineering and integration test support from project initiation through system transition.
Analyze technical issues to determine effective resolutions.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and develop prototype systems.
Support definition of team objectives and contribute to complex design decisions.
Develop test plans and procedures for assessing EW system performance.
Prepare verification and acceptance documentation for components, subsystems, and systems.
Plan and execute IV&V activities and lead multidisciplinary teams.
Brief senior program management and engineering leadership.
