Job summary

RTX is seeking a Senior Engineer - Electronic Warfare Systems to design, develop, and test EW sensor systems for multiple programs in an onsite Fort Wayne, IN role. The candidate will oversee RF system elements, perform test planning, integration, and validation, and support production and field activities.

The role requires a STEM degree with 5+ years in RF/signal processing, system design delivery to customers, and willingness to travel up to 20%. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline and 5 years of systems engineering, RF design, or signal processing experience
• Experience presenting system design or test results to customers or stakeholders
• Willingness to travel up to 20%
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required

Responsibilities

• Understand customer needs and participate in requirements decomposition and allocation
• Support system integration, test, design verification, fault identification and resolution
• Provide engineering oversight for lab test and qualification activities
• Support customer inquiries, field failures, obsolescence, and new product development
• Evaluate performance of developmental EW systems and signal processing subsystems
• Assist with bid/proposal labor and materials estimations
• Balance multiple commitments with moderate oversight
