Job summary

DynaChrg Inc. in Calabasas, CA is seeking a senior EV charging engineer to own the charger-facing integration layer of the EVES platform. You will evaluate, onboard, and test charger interoperability, troubleshoot complex OCPP flows, and support production integration with CSMS teams.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in EV charging product or systems integration and hands-on OCPP 1.6J experience, plus the ability to work on-site in Calabasas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• Strong understanding of EVSE architecture, charging workflows, and charger-to-backend comms.
• Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead integration of commercial EVSE with DynaChrg's EVES platform.
• Configure and troubleshoot OCPP 1.6J; support OCPP 2.0.1 integrations.
• Analyze charger/backend logs, telemetry, and network captures.
• Diagnose root causes across hardware, firmware, networking, and CSMS behavior.
• Onboard new charger manufacturers and perform qualification/validation testing.
• Work with charger OEMs to resolve firmware and interoperability issues.
• Provide field support and assist with commissioning as needed.
