Job summary

DynaChrg Inc. is seeking an entry-level EV Charging Systems QA & Test Engineer to join our EV charging engineering team in a hands-on lab setting.

You will test and validate EV charging hardware, firmware, networking, and backend software, and collaborate with developers and QA teams to ensure reliable interoperability across multiple charger platforms. The role emphasizes quality assurance, test case development, and troubleshooting, with opportunities to grow into more advanced QA automation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or closely related discipline.
• 0-3 years of experience including internships, academic projects, lab experience, or professional QA work.
• Solid understanding of basic electrical and electronic engineering principles.
• Fundamental understanding of computer networks, including TCP/IP, Ethernet, Wi‑Fi, and client-server communication.
• Familiarity with software testing, debugging, verification, or QA concepts.
• Basic programming or scripting knowledge, preferably Python.
• Ability to read technical documentation, analyze system behavior, and troubleshoot technical problems.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual and automated testing to verify system functionality, reliability, and interoperability.
• Develop, maintain, and execute functional, integration, regression, and system-level test cases for EV charging hardware and software.
• Identify, reproduce, document, and track defects through resolution.
• Collaborate with software developers and QA teams to validate bug fixes, new features, and system releases.
