Job summary

Zero Impact Solutions in Orange County, CA is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to own the CSMS platform delivery. You will align hardware, firmware, and software teams to ship on time while maintaining interoperability with diverse charger vendors.

You will analyze OCPP traces, drive architecture reviews, and translate regulatory and customer requirements into milestones. This hands-on role demands clear communication with engineers, suppliers, and enterprise fleet customers.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in technical program or engineering management delivering backend or IoT platforms.
• 3+ years in EV charging, energy, telematics or connected-device systems.
• Fluent understanding of OCPP 1.6J and 2.0.1 protocols and testing.
• Strong: .NET Core / C# backend development and architecture reviews.

Responsibilities

• Own CSMS roadmap, scope, phase gates and release cadence aligned with commitments.
• Translate requirements into epics, acceptance criteria and milestones.
• Lead quarterly planning, reviews, and go/no-go decisions with leadership.
• Oversee OCPP implementation, interoperability testing and certification.
• Coordinate architecture with backend, firmware, hardware teams and QA.
• Manage risk, dependencies and quality with KPI tracking.
• Interface with charger manufacturers, utilities, CPOs and enterprise clients.
