Job summary

Zero Impact Solutions in Costa Mesa, CA is seeking a hands-on Technical Program Manager to own the cloud CSMS delivering OCPP 1.6J and 2.0.1 interoperability across diverse chargers, vendors and enterprise customers.

You will lead program strategy, architecture alignment with .NET Core and Azure, manage cross‑functional teams, and drive certification, field readiness and KPI governance to ship on schedule.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in technical program or engineering management delivering backend or IoT platforms.
• Fluent with OCPP 1.6J and 2.0.1 across Core, Firmware, Local Auth List, Transactions and Security.
• Strong understanding of .NET Core backend systems and microservice design.
• Hands-on experience with WebSocket-based, long-lived connections at scale.
• Cloud platform experience (Azure preferred; AWS acceptable) with observability tooling.
• Demonstrated record of shipping multi-quarter programs with hardware dependencies.
• Clear written and verbal communication for mixed audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own the CSMS roadmap: scope, gates, milestones and release cadence.
• Oversee OCPP implementation and interoperability across profiles and regions.
• Lead vendor onboarding, certification, and field deployment sign-off.
• Coordinate security/compliance, risk management and incident reviews.
• Drive program delivery, architecture reviews, and KPI reporting across teams.
