Job summary

Zero Impact Solutions is seeking a senior program manager to own delivery of the cloud CSMS platform that keeps thousands of DC fast chargers and Level 2 stations online, billing correctly and compliant with OCPP 1.6J and 2.0.1. The platform communicates with chargers from multiple manufacturers over long-lived WebSocket connections.

This hands-on role spans backend engineering, firmware and hardware partners, QA, field operations and commercial teams, acting as the primary technical interface

Qualifications

• 7+ years in technical program or engineering management roles delivering backend or IoT platforms, including 3+ years in EV charging, energy, telematics or connected-device systems.
• Fluent in OCPP 1.6J and 2.0.1: read traces, explain Transaction lifecycle, and describe Smart Charging profiles.
• Strong understanding of .NET Core / C# backend systems and microservice design.
• Hands-on experience with WebSocket-based, long-lived connections at scale and offline queuing.
• Cloud experience (Azure preferred; AWS acceptable) and vendor management for multi-quarter programs.

Responsibilities

• Own CSMS roadmap: scope, gates, release cadence and alignment with commitments.
• Translate requirements into epics, acceptance criteria and milestones.
• Lead quarterly planning, reviews and release decisions; communicate to leadership.
• Coordinate across backend, firmware, QA, field ops and commercial teams.
