Job summary

Pearson's Advanced Specialist, Events role leads planning and delivery of customer, partner and industry events, conferences, sponsorships and association programmes to support Pearson's go-to-market priorities.

You will coordinate internal teams and external partners, manage budgets, timelines and production requirements, and drive flawless execution while contributing to ongoing improvement of Pearson's global events programme.

Qualifications

• Proven experience independently managing complex business events, conferences, sponsorship programmes, or association partnerships.
• Strong project management with budgets, timelines and dependencies.
• Experience with vendors, agencies and external partners.
• Ability to translate objectives into event plans and measures.

Responsibilities

• Own assigned event workstreams from planning through post-event follow-up.
• Manage timelines, budgets, vendors, venues, registration and production.
• Translate objectives into event plans, milestones and success measures.
• Coordinate activities across teams and partners to ensure delivery excellence.
• Support successful event execution and attendee experience.
