Job summary

Pearson is seeking an Advanced Specialist, Events to independently own critical components of customer-facing events, conferences, and association programmes. You will work with internal teams and external partners to deliver high-quality experiences aligned with Pearson's commercial and brand objectives.

This role requires balancing strategy with flawless execution, driving improvements, and sharing expertise across a global events programme.

Qualifications

• Extensive events management experience with complex programmes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder relations skills.

Responsibilities

• Own assigned event workstreams from planning through post-event follow-up.
• Manage timelines, budgets, vendors, venues, registration activities, attendee communications and production requirements.
• Translate objectives into clear event plans, milestones and measures of success.
• Coordinate activities across internal teams and external partners to ensure readiness and delivery excellence.
• Support successful event execution while maintaining high-quality attendee experience.
• Provide guidance and templates to junior colleagues and share best practices.
