Job summary

Grand Geneva Resort & Spa in Lake Geneva seeks an Event Manager to orchestrate meetings and social events, coordinating between clients, the banquet team, and hotel management to ensure flawlessly executed experiences for every guest.

You will develop client menus, contracts, and event details, lead pre-convention meetings, conduct property tours, and maintain organized files while upholding safety, service standards, and the resort's commitment to exceptional hospitality.

Qualifications

• Two years catering/hospitality sales management experience at a property of similar size/quality.
• College degree preferred.
• Delphi experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong multitask/project management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate meetings, social events, and functions with guest needs.
• Handle inquiries, complaints, and follow-up communication to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Collaborate with Banquet Manager to set service standards and provide floor coverage.
• Develop client menus, contracts, and event details with clear client communication.
• Organize pre-convention meetings and property tours.
• Maintain accurate administrative files and stay updated on market trends.
• Represent the hotel at community events and organizations.
• Ensure cleanliness, safety, and high professional standards while supporting sales goals.
• Other duties as assigned.
