Job summary

Grand Geneva Resort & Spa, a Marcus Hotels & Resorts property in Lake Geneva, WI, seeks an Outlet Manager to oversee the Grand Café, Grand Central, Lobby Lounge, In-Room Dining, and Pool Bar, ensuring superb guest experiences across venues.

You will lead daily dining operations, hire and train staff, and coordinate events while maintaining high standards of service and profitability in a AAA Four Diamond setting.

Qualifications

• Previous food and beverage management experience required, preferably in a destination restaurant or steakhouse, fine dining experience is essential.
• Strong knowledge of Food & Beverage operations, preparation techniques and wine required.
• High school diploma required. College degree not required but equal work experience is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong administrative skills with a professional demeanor.
• Ability to handle pressure and manage stressful situations effectively.
• Capable of interacting professionally with all organizational levels.
• Must be able to walk, stand, and bend continuously; able to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Flexible availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily food and beverage operations, including quality and service standards, cost control, guest relations, profitability, and equipment costs.
• Interview, hire, train, and supervise restaurant staff for smooth operations.
• Conduct pre-shift and departmental meetings to organize daily tasks.
• Schedule and oversee staff work assignments.
• Interact positively with guests, promoting hotel facilities and services.
• Resolve guest issues to ensure satisfaction.
• Organize special restaurant events and maintain rapport with other departments.
• Control reservations, ensuring full space utilization without compromising service quality.
