Job summary

Grand Geneva Resort & Spa in Lake Geneva seeks a Holiday Character to coordinate daily activities and guest events across the property. You will engage guests, promote experiences, and help ensure memorable interactions throughout their stay.

The role supports a prestige AAA Four Diamond resort, with opportunities to create personalized guest experiences and participate in festive programming year-round.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; event planning, catering, or recreation experience preferred.
• High energy, positive attitude, and creativity.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Independent decision-maker with a safety mindset.
• Able to stand for long periods and work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute daily activities for resort guests.
• Welcome and introduce guests to experiences upon arrival.
• Create, develop, and implement on/off-site events.
• Promote and build excitement for scheduled events.
• Address and resolve guest complaints.
• Personalize experiences through a proactive guest profiling program.
• Schedule activities, update marketing materials, and adjust for changes that may arise.
• Complete special projects as assigned.
