Job summary

Keller Williams Realty, LLC is seeking an Events Manager in Austin to oversee planning, production, and execution of large-scale events from conception to completion. You will coordinate with Marketing, Creative, Brand, Sponsorships, PR, and Technology to deliver cohesive experiences while managing budgets and timelines.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in event planning, strong project management and communication skills, and the ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; four years education/experience may substitute.
• Minimum five years of large-scale event planning experience.
• Ability to travel up to 20 percent.
• Flexibility to work irregular hours due to event schedules.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Owns events project plans and production schedules; ensures milestones and deliverables are met.
• Oversees vendors to align with scope, production requirements, and attendee experience.
• Manages multiple vendors and production partners with accountability for timelines.
• Develops long-term event strategies with the Director/Sr. Manager, Events.
• Collaborates cross-functionally with Marketing, Creative, Brand, Sponsorships, PR, Technology.
• Tracks event budgets and expenses; evaluates changes and reconciles after events.
• Analyzes event performance and provides recommendations for improvements.
• Develops event standards, processes, templates, and best practices.
• Onsite escalation for stakeholder, vendor, and attendee concerns.
• Manages speaker contracts and talent buying for assigned events.
