Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking an experienced Field Marketing Events Manager in Austin, TX to plan and execute memorable events with internal and external partners. You will design concepts, manage budgets, negotiate contracts, and oversee logistics for on-site and virtual events.

This role also leads team projects and develops virtual event strategies to drive engagement and brand awareness. The position requires 5+ years of B2B event experience, strong negotiation and vendor-management

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience planning and managing events, including on-site, virtual, and webinars.
• 5+ years of relevant B2B software marketing experience with proven results.
• Bachelor’s degree in business with focus on marketing, management, or hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal and external partners on event details, plan logistics, and summarize event details back to partners for transparency and accuracy.
• Research venues to determine availability and feasibility for future marketing events.
• Negotiate and execute contracts with caterers, hotels, venues, AV, transportation, and promo suppliers.
• Design memorable events and develop new creative concepts for management approval.
• Plan and execute logistics for all assigned events, independently or as part of a team.
• Provide event day customer service support and greet attendees.
• Lead team projects for vendor shows and marquee field events.
• Develop and implement virtual event strategies to drive engagement and lead generation.
