Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years related experience, or 7+ years equivalent.
• Experience leading a team of staff and/or volunteers.
• Ability to travel locally and nationally; flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Works with department leadership to establish strategic event plans for the College.
• Oversees, creates and manages events including logistics, catering, parking, budgets and client relationships.
• Supports all event-related needs for COB programs, centers and units.
• Serves as the venue manager for the Special Events Room, Lobby and Courtyard.
• Leads budgets development and maintains fiscal responsibility for all COB events.
• Develops and implements event themes, design and experience.
• Supports event marketing, attendance and participation with COB Marketing and Communications.
• Develops vendor relationships; oversees quotes, invoices and payments.
