Job summary

Northern Trust seeks a Corporate Conferences & Events Technology Specialist to manage technology for corporate events and high‑touch meetings, working with planners, admins, vendors and internal tech teams to ensure successful planning and execution.

You will coordinate end‑to‑end technical readiness for events, including AV, conferencing, streaming, networking, and hybrid or remote locations, while helping maintain standards and improving processes.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in event technology, AV support, or conferencing platforms.
• Experience supporting live events and/or video production initiatives.
• Working knowledge of event platforms and hybrid event support models.
• Strong communication and coordination with planners, vendors, and technical teams.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and readiness activities.

Responsibilities

• Partner with event planners and stakeholders to gather and define event technology requirements.
• Consult and assist with event planning by recommending technology solutions based on event type and audience.
• Coordinate end-to-end technical readiness for events, including AV, conferencing, streaming, networking, and hybrid/remote locations.
• Coordinate with AV operators, platform vendors, and IT teams to ensure reliable event delivery.
• Help maintain standards, presets, and playbooks for event technology support.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of event technology processes and stakeholder experience.
