Hotel Magdalena in Austin, TX is seeking an Event Service Manager to implement the vision of the Director of Food & Beverage. This role leads daily execution, operations, and team coaching to deliver outstanding guest experiences and uphold our standards of service.

The manager will work closely with Sales and Marketing, maintain SOPs, manage labor and COGS, and foster a collaborative, high-performing culture across departments. Excellent communication is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; college degree preferred.
• 3–5 years in food & beverage management and events.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Ability to navigate events and F&B areas.
• Proficiency with Evention, Toast, UKG-Dimension is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead event operations and guest experiences to industry-leading standards.
• Collaborate with leadership to maintain brand culture and service standards.
• Coach and discipline staff per SOPs; foster a positive work environment.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure collaboration and excellent service.
• Manage labor and beverages costs to balance guest experience with costs.
