Job summary

Sonesta Hotels is seeking a Sr. Event Services Manager to coordinate Corporate Catering events and Groups with Banquet, acting as the main liaison between clients and hotel teams.

You will ensure precise event documentation, flawless execution, and strong client partnerships across multiple departments. The role requires excellent communication, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple events with diverse requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; or 1–3 years related experience and/or training with two years in a senior role; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• CMP (Certified Meeting Planner) a plus

Responsibilities

• Act as the central point of communication between clients and all hotel teams to guarantee smooth event coordination and seamless execution.
• Oversee a diverse lineup of events including corporate government meetings, galas, and corporate social gatherings.
• Create, update, and distribute Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and Group Resumes with accuracy.
• Maintain detailed event files and ensure accurate coding and timely invoicing with Accounting.
• Foster strong relationships with vendors, planners, and internal stakeholders.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

1-3 years related experience with senior role
