Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels seeks a Sr. Event Services Manager to gather client details for Corporate Catering events and Banquets, translate into standard documents, and coordinate with culinary, AV, and hotel teams.

You will act as the liaison between planners and hotel staff, ensuring exceptional service and flawless execution. You will oversee event setup, manage multiple BEO versions, and participate in weekly reviews, maintaining clear communication with clients and vendors to strengthen

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university, or 1–3 years related experience and/or training with 2 years in a senior role; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with event planning, banquet operations, and group coordination is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as the central point of communication between clients and hotel teams to guarantee smooth event coordination.
• Oversee a diverse lineup of events including corporate meetings, galas, and social gatherings with exemplary service.
• Create, update and distribute BEOs and Group Resumes with accuracy across departments.
• Manage room blocks, billing instructions, and guarantees; ensure on-site flawless delivery.
• Maintain proactive client communication throughout the planning process and event lifecycle.
