Job summary

Amex GBT is seeking a Senior Event Producer to lead assigned enterprise programs from brief to close, handling budgets, timelines, and creative direction. You will collaborate with client teams and internal partners to ensure on-brand execution and flawless onsite delivery, including staffing, logistics, and risk management.

The role requires 8+ years of corporate events experience, strong budget and stakeholder management, and proficiency with Cvent and enterprise tools. A CMP/CMM is preferred.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years producing corporate meetings and events.
• Experience on a dedicated account team under a client statement of work.
• Portfolio includes multi-day executive programs, audiences 500+, and budgets above $1 million.
• Production fluency: brief and direct partners, read production schedules, and manage show vs. budget.
• Budget ownership with forecasts, reconciliations, and change control.
• Strong command of Cvent and enterprise tools.
• Executive presence in planning meetings and updates.
• Ability to lead a program team you do not manage.
• Detailed written communication: status reports, decision logs, client updates.
• Preferred CMP or CMM; experience with multiple programs; background in production company/hotel/DMO.

Responsibilities

• Lead programs as producer of record from brief to close.
• Coordinate with client's producers and deliver to standards.
• Serve as daily stakeholder contact, manage cadence and decisions.
• Direct creative and production, review against brand standards.
• Own program budgets from estimate to reconciliation.
• Direct event managers and coordinators; coordinate with Studio Operations Manager.
• Maintain master timeline and decision logs.
• Work with sourcing on venue and supplier selection and contracts.
• Lead onsite delivery, staffing plans, pre-con meetings, and run of show.
• Partner with Studio Operations Manager on staffing and risk.
