Job summary

The Historic Davenport Hotel, Autograph Collection in Spokane, WA seeks a Senior Event Planning Manager to coordinate all aspects of events and act as the liaison between the customer and hotel sales. You will provide direction during execution, solve on-site problems, and oversee group blocks, catering, meeting spaces, and billing processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and/or 2+ years of hotel sales experience.
• 3 years food and beverage experience.
• Strong negotiation and interpretation of contracts.
• Developed business communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to direct/motivate event planning department to exceed goals.
• Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of events from planning to execution.
• Act as liaison between customer and hotel sales to provide direction during events.
• Be available during events to solve problems and suggest alternatives.
• Direct group room blocks, food & beverage, meeting space, and billing processes.
