Job summary

The Historic Davenport Hotel, Autograph Collection in Spokane seeks a Senior Event Planning Manager to coordinate all aspects of meetings and banquets from initial planning to execution, ensuring guests have an unforgettable experience.

You will serve as a liaison between clients and hotel sales, supervise the events team, and manage group room blocks, food and beverage logistics, and billing while remaining available during events to resolve issues and propose alternatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and/or 2+ years of hotel sales experience.
• 3 years food and beverage experience.
• Strong negotiation and interpretation of contracts.
• Developed business communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to direct/motivate event planning department to meet and exceed goals.
• Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft office.
• Experience with major Hospitality Sales CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of events from planning to execution to ensure unforgettable guest experiences.
• Act as liaison between customer and hotel sales to provide direction during events.
• Be available during events to solve problems and propose alternatives to arrangements.
• Directly serve group and catering customers, coordinating with logistics of group room blocks, F&B, public meeting space, and billing.
