Job summary

Encore is seeking a Sr. Technical Lead responsible for bridging between technical lead and specialist, ensuring flawless setup, operation, and breakdown of AV equipment for events in Miami.

The role emphasizes customer service, leadership, and staff development within a hotel/convention center setting. You will supervise events, mentor staff, maintain equipment, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 2+ years in field experience required.
• 2-3 years of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• External applicants must meet training/certification within 60 days.
• Internal applicants must meet training/certification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up advanced audiovisual equipment for events.
• Troubleshoot issues and resolve problems quickly.
• Provide excellent service and build client relationships.
• Mentor and coach team members to develop skills.
• Supervise events and direct technicians as needed.
• Maintain equipment security, storage, and maintenance.
