Job summary

Encore is seeking an experienced AV operations leader to support the Director, Event Technology in locations generating substantial revenue. You will manage daily equipment setups, inventory, and on-site execution while coordinating with Operations and Sales teams.

The role requires 3+ years of AV experience and 1+ year of supervision, with strong leadership, budgeting, and customer-focused service. Works in hotel/convention environments with on-site teams and vendors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years of audio-visual experience.
• 1+ years of supervisory experience.
• Working knowledge of audio-visual equipment in a live show environment.
• Experience handling pre-planning and operations of large audio-visual events.
• Proficiency with computer hardware and Microsoft Office.
• A valid driver’s license is required for team members in positions that operate Company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Directs the operations team on daily equipment setups and strikes.
• Ensures appropriate business levels by scheduled staff and delegates tasks.
• Mentors and supervises operational staff to provide outstanding customer service, ensuring room sets meet company standards.
• Establishes excellent working relationships with hotel/resort staff, executives, team members, and vendors.
• Utilizes the billing system to coordinate invoicing activities and ensures accuracy.
• Maintains inventory control procedures and ensures gear safety and quality.
