Job summary

Lucid Motors is seeking an experienced Sr. Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain Battery Electric Vehicles in a fast-paced setting. You will train junior technicians, work with HV systems, and ensure precise documentation and customer satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have ASE HV certifications, EPA 609, and luxury‑care experience. A valid license and strong communication skills are essential, with some remote/mobile support required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a Service Technician or Diagnosis Technician.
• ASE Certifications (A4, A5, A6, A7, A8, L3, L4-ADAS) - required.
• Diagnosing and repairing HV, LV systems and EV powertrains.
• Experience in luxury automobile repair environments.
• Customer facing with strong written and verbal communication.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and DMS software.
• Ability to communicate with Field Engineering on preliminary vehicle diagnosis.
• EPA 609 Certification.
• Willingness to complete Lucid CPR training post hire.
• Valid driver''s license; no suspensions in past year; drivers 21+ must have 3 years DL and complete Lucid training.

Responsibilities

• Repair electro‑mechanical issues and perform diagnostics.
• Train and assist Associate Service Technicians and Service Technicians with HV systems and powertrains.
• Maintain knowledge of high voltage, low voltage, and general EV systems.
• Be SME in at least 1–2 major repair categories; solve technical and process‑flow issues.
• Follow repair order documentation procedures (The Three C's).
• Document all customer vehicle interactions using the software suite.
• Collaborate with service team and customers to ensure quality outcomes.
• Support remote work and mobile service team as needed.
