Job summary

Rivian seeks an experienced Senior Field Service Technician to lead complex vehicle repairs and field operations. You will mentor technicians, drive continuous improvements, and tackle challenging diagnostics in fast-paced settings across service centers and remote sites.

Based primarily at a service center, the role may travel to remote locations or production plants to provide advanced field support. Strong leadership and HV diagnostic expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Graduation from automotive repair school or vocational program preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record; willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Advanced Diagnostics & Complex Repairs: bumper-to-bumper diagnostics and repairs in centers or field.
• Technical Support & Remote Troubleshooting: provide guidance and perform remote diagnostics when possible.
• Leadership & Mentorship: train junior technicians and lead problem solving.
• Advanced Tools & Methodologies: use diagnostic tools to resolve high-voltage and network faults.
• Quality & Process Standardization: road tests and drive standardization across workflows.
• Parts Operations & Systems: oversee parts ordering, receiving, inventory, and billing.
• Documentation & Technical Feedback: generate documentation and root-cause analysis for leadership.
• Customer & Cross-Functional Engagement: interact with customers and internal teams during escalations.
