Job summary

Kaufman Lynn Construction, a leading Florida contractor, seeks a Senior Estimator to prepare budgets, estimates, and pre-bid packages for CM at Risk projects. You will work with the preconstruction team and project management to establish bidders lists, solicit and evaluate subcontractor proposals, and review plans for constructability and value engineering.

Your role includes supervising junior staff and collaborating across CSI divisions to ensure accurate unit costs and timely takeoffs, using

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years of experience in estimating required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
• Experience in municipal, higher education, healthcare, public schools, assisted living, multifamily, country clubs or similar markets is ideal.
• Ability to read engineering and architectural drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepares budgets, estimates, and pre-bid packages for construction projects.
• Develops bidders lists, solicits subcontractor proposals and scopes of work.
• Reviews plans and specs for constructability and value engineering across CSI divisions.
• Manages bid process and coordinates with senior estimators and project managers.
• Mentors junior estimators and interns when needed.
