Job summary

Hedrick Brothers Construction in Florida seeks a Senior Estimator to provide cost-truth from early budgets to GMP estimates. You will work under the Chief Estimator and partner with Preconstruction, project executives, and operations to price, review, and win work.

You bring construction expertise, calm under bid-day pressure, and the experience to identify risk before it impacts a project. This role is on-site in Florida.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in commercial construction estimating.
• Experience leading preconstruction on large, complex projects.
• Experience with wood-frame multifamily projects.
• Proficiency in cost estimation across all design stages.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, codes, and trades.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates from Concept through Construction Documents.
• Build conceptual budgets using historical cost data for early pricing.
• Develop bid packages and cost models with input from operations.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, subs, and suppliers to resolve items.
• Lead bid strategy, risk identification, and qualifications summaries.
