Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a construction-related field.
• Education/experience background in materials and methods of construction.

Responsibilities

• Prepare estimates at all levels of design completion.
• Teach and mentor estimators with less experience.
• Collaborate with project teams to support profitability and client success.
• Develop and prepare Preconstruction Status Reports including cost indicators and cash flow projections.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to validate budgets.
• Interpret drawings and quantify materials for construction.
• Perform on-screen takeoffs of quantities.
• Publish estimate clarifications.
• Summarize quantities in an orderly fashion.
