Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Estimator in Salt Lake City to lead multi-discipline cost estimates for building and facility projects ranging from $1 million to $2 billion. You will supervise teams of discipline estimators, coordinate with schedulers and construction engineers, and develop detailed estimates, schedules, and risk assessments for major projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of estimating and construction experience.
• Strong multi-discipline estimating coordination across civil, architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing scopes.
• Experience with industry estimating software and scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Supervise multi-discipline cost estimates and construction schedules.
• Develop detailed estimates for architectural systems, buildingenvelope, interiors, finishes, doors/hardware, and structural components.
• Coordinate input from estimators and prep basis-of-cost deliverables.
• Support procurement, change, and claims negotiations.
• Interface with clients and stakeholders to ensure estimate defensibility.
