Job summary

Cumming Group, a leading project and cost management consultancy, seeks a Senior Estimator for large-scale data center and mission-critical projects in Columbus, OH. You will head estimating, preconstruction, budgets and bid strategies from early design through final proposal.

The ideal candidate brings strong construction estimating expertise, subcontractor/vendor knowledge, and the ability to identify cost risks and opportunities while ensuring accurate, competitive estimates aligned with

Qualifications

• Experience developing and communicating action plans to guide the team.
• Experience monitoring the contract scope throughout the project and making adjustments as necessary.
• Experience utilizing project controls tools such as Prolog, Expedition and Primavera software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Expedition, Prologue, Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Project Management Plan and fee budget/proposal at the project outset.
• Perform quantity take off and prepare complete estimates using Excel, BIMS, Revit, Success.
• Input Work Plan and project assignments into appropriate software platform.
• Evaluate documents and communicate client goals to all project team members.
• Develop and communicate action plans to lead the project team from start to finish.
• Re-evaluate contract scope as project progresses and recommend adjustments.
• Coordinate cost management for preparation of estimates and budget reconciliation.
• Drive the permitting process with design documents for agencies.
