Job summary

Cumming Group in Columbus, OH is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to lead estimating and preconstruction for large-scale data center and mission-critical infrastructure projects. You will develop detailed cost estimates, budgets, bid packages, and pricing strategies from early design through final proposal.

The ideal candidate has strong construction estimating experience, subcontractor knowledge, and the ability to identify cost risks and opportunities while keeping estimates accurate

Qualifications

• BS in Construction Management, Engineering, QS, Architecture, or related field.
• Experience with cost estimating for large-scale projects.
• Certifications CCM, PMP, PE, AIA, LEED are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Project Management Plan and fee budget/proposal at project outset.
• Perform quantity take off and prepare estimates using Excel, BIMS, Revit, Success.
• Coordinate with cost management for cost estimates, cost studies, and budget reconciliation.
• Plan, manage, and coordinate all aspects of the project schedule, scope, and cost.
• Coordinate and review team timesheets and client billing.
