Cumming Group is seeking a Director of Estimating to lead estimating for a high-profile life sciences client. The role requires extensive experience in pharmaceutical or life sciences construction, with the ability to develop estimates from early conceptual design through detailed construction documents and to guide project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level degree in construction or related field.
• 9–12 years in Cost & Commercial Management; 5+ years leading client expectations.
• Professional accreditation such as MRICS or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Consult executive level clientele to showcase services and grow revenue.
• Lead estimating efforts and develop proposals for life sciences projects.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop team members across service lines.
• Prepare fee proposals and ensure QA of cost estimates before submittal.
• Set strategy for business development and marketing; report to senior management.
