Cumming Group is seeking a Director of Estimating to lead estimating efforts for a high-profile life sciences client. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience estimating pharmaceutical or life sciences construction projects, from early conceptual design through detailed construction documents, with a collaborative team focus.

The role requires senior leadership, proposal development, and revenue growth across diverse services.

Qualifications

• Experience leading client expectations and managing a business unit.
• BS in Construction, Cost & Commercial Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
• Professional accreditation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Consult executive level clientele and highlight services to drive growth.
• Increase services to existing clientele and develop revenue opportunities.
• Recruit and develop diverse team members and mentor staff.
• Partner with service line leaders for integrated project approaches.
• Prepare fee proposals and negotiate professional services agreements.
• Oversee quality of cost estimates and provide senior leadership with financial reporting.
• Set strategy for business development and marketing and drive revenue growth.
• Lead organizational leadership and ensure project success.
