Job summary

Cumming Group is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead estimating and preconstruction for large data center and critical infrastructure projects in Columbus, OH. You will develop detailed cost estimates, budgets, bid packages, and pricing strategies from design through proposal.

The ideal candidate brings strong construction estimating expertise, subcontractor knowledge, and the ability to identify cost risks and opportunities while ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.

Qualifications

• Experience developing and communicating action plans to guide the team.
• Experience managing cost scope and adjusting as needed.
• Proficiency with project controls tools such as Prolog, Expedition and Primavera.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office, Excel, and project software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Project Management Plan and fee budget/proposal at project outset.
• Perform quantity take-off and prepare estimates using Excel, BIMS, Revit, Success.
• Input Work Plan and project assignments into software platforms.
• Evaluate documents and communicate client goals to project team.
• Develop action plans to guide the project team from initiation through completion.
• Coordinate cost management, budgeting, and monthly reporting.
