Job summary

Linesight in Raleigh, NC seeks a Senior Estimator (CSA) to lead the development of the total project estimate, coordinate the estimate plan with the project team, and advance the Basis of Estimate and risk analysis. You will maintain current local rates and advise on contingencies, while building strong relationships with clients and the internal team.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of estimating experience in construction, proficiency with Sage Timberline, InEight or CostX, and a

Qualifications

10+ years of estimating experience in a construction environment.
Experience with estimating systems such as Sage Timberline, InEight or CostX.
Degree or comparable experience in a construction-related discipline.
Chartered or on path to accreditation (RICS, CEP or CPE) is a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Detail oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.

Responsibilities

Develop the estimate plan and coordinate estimate development with the project team.
Lead the development of the total project estimate.
Prepare the total Project Basis of Estimate and the Estimate Risk Analysis, making cost contingency recommendations to the project team.
Analyze and make recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity.
Maintain a library of current local rates for use in all estimates.
Foster strong relationships with team members and clients.
